---- try to imagine living in a world filled with fame, talent and wealth. do you got it? because if you do, you're probably picturing it as glamorous, easy - it seems perfect, right? wouldn't you give anything to be like those people? funny that when you're on the inside looking out, those people would much rather be you. welcome to Santa monica, california - where the population is ninety two thousand, four hundred and ninety four. most of these people, they're living on the inside looking out. right here in this beautiful city is where talent gets noticed, people get the fame and then the wealth to go with it. some people here don't even have to get noticed - they got lucky enough to have a rich daddy, they were born into fame. what about the other part of the population? they're the average citizens. the kids and adults who haven't had it so easy, who have had to work for everything they have now, and even despite their best efforts, have been thrown into the lifestyle of the rich and the famous.
---- are you still imagining it? the lifestyle of these citizens? it looks great, it looks fun, it looks carefree - i know. but when you're on the inside looking out, you long to be one of those people who are just standing in the shadows - believe it or not, many of them want to be you. when you're in the spotlight and surrounded by those who are in the spotlight, a lot can happen - and when we say a lot, we mean everything wrong. when your heart gets broken, people know about it. when you're boyfriend or girlfriend cheat on you, people know about it. when you're best friend stabs you in the back, people know. it gets spread all over the tabloids - and even the internet, no thanks to the famous gossip girl of santa monica. you can try to cover it up all you want, but one thing you will be learning from your stay here, is that the truth hurts and lies worse. so are you still sure you want to be apart of it, apart of the fame and glamor? if so, welcome to santa monica.
