A painter paints pictures on canvas. But musicians paint their
pictures on silence.

So here's the story:
You're passionate and have a love for music. You're all here at this school for one
thing, and you should know what that is. Our Academy is focused on one thing and one
thing only, and that's the music. The heart and soul of our culture and life. What we
thrive and live off of. If you're serious about attending this school then that will be
one of your main priorities. Though the staff and teachers can't keep you completely in
line this means it's fully up to you. This is a high quality school, but does that mean
you'll follow all the rules or break them? Does it mean you'll fall in love or be
antisocial? Does it mean you'll break some faces or break some hearts? It's completely up
to you, but are you stable enough to make the decisions? Are you completely focused on
the music and nothing else? Unexpected things happen here, things that are extremely out
of the blue. Musicians have high creativity and feelings, which means it all hits you
harder than any other. It means you're more likely to either fall harder or rise higher.
It means you're more likely to love faster and break longer. Or at least that's how most
things go around here.

Under all the high quality academy talk you hear when you first stump upon this school
it'll seem perfect on it's focus. You'll think that you're just coming in here for the
music and nothing else. Once it's done it's over and the only mark you'll be left with is
a better music experience, but darling, trust me, it's much more than that. This place
will be your addiction. Your own personal brand of heroin. You'll be left with a lot more
than being better advanced in music. You and everyone else want to be number one. You
want to be the best musician in the building, better than the rest. The star that shines
and shows up ahead of all others. Some people may have different aspirations, wanting to
become famous or sit in on the classical or underground stream. What are you here for?
Aside from the academy this town is filled with late night parties. Hardcore competition
and that lovely romance with a breakdown breakup.Tragedies and miracles happen here, it's
all a part of life. You'll live and learn here, and trust me your lessons will go farther
from music. The question is, are you moving through the crowd or are you part of it? Are
you writing your own future or are you following the planned outcome? My best suggestion
for you is to live every day here like your last, because if you don't than you're
wasting your time. There will always be someone better than the next, you just don't know
it yet. Around here your inspiration doesn't come from the outside or your life before,
it comes from the people within these brick walls of the school. The breathing humans
that you have to live with for your time here at Andrews Academy of Music. You all live
off of each other, you all have one thing in common yet so many differences. Are you
