It was inevitable. Peyton & Lucas found there way back to one another. Thats how it was always meant to be. They didn't get married in Vegas, and decided to wait til they could be in front of their friends and loved ones, but they took a week to escape with one another and be alone. Returning back to their hometown of Tree Hill, they are about to face their friends for the first time as a couple again. What Will everyone think? Will they be as happy as the couple?
The high fashion designer, Brooke Davis, starting over with a new line for her company and not having her mother lurking over her shoulder anymore, has been a huge weight lifted. Now that Angie has been returned to her family, Brooke is diving back into her work more and spending more one on one time with Ryan. However, with her recent attack one night at her store after a horrible phone call from her mother threatening to take her company away, its now left Brooke in a different frame of mind. How will she survive this tragedy she has gone through?
Nathan and Haley are trying to capture their dreams again. She with her music and him with basketball. Finding out the news through text about their friends getting engaged, they face their own fears about Nathan's injuries and wonder if their is hope for them too.
With raising Jenny and working for the law firm, Jake Jagielski doesn't have a whole lot to complain about. Except maybe one thing. He doesn't have Brooke Davis. Trying to fill his time and the void in his heart, he's been working on his music with Haley and trying to give Ryan and Brooke the space they need. But he knows that Brooke belongs with him and not Ryan. Will Jake continue to be a true friend to Brooke and stay out of the way or will the love that they shared once finally reconnect them?
Ryan Gallagher, working on opening his club and balancing his personal life at home with his relationship with Brooke Davis, a girl he's loved since Freshman year of high school, finally landing all of his dreams but ever since they returned Angie to her family, Brooke has been a little off and he wonders whats going on with his only love. Does Jake have anything to do with it? What will Ryan do if he loses Brooke again?
And what about the rest of the lives in One Tree Hill? The lives of Mouth, Skillz and even Dan Scott. Everyone's lives are forever changing. Even for those who are new to the town. Its all happening in our Hometown .
